X Factor winner Alexandra Burke has released her first video to forthcoming single Bad Boys featuring Florida.

I wasn’t sure whether I liked this track on first listen but it has started to grow on me. The chorus is really catchy which is good and I think it has the potential to quite well in the pop charts.
As for Florida’s cameo, I don’t know whether it’s really needed, it seems that they have just added him in to the track just for the sake of saying she has collaborated with a rapper..
This single is out on Monday October 12th and her debut album titled Overcome is due out Monday October 19th.

I nearly smashed the TV when I first saw this video!! I like Alexandra Burke but errrr what year are we in? Have I unknowingly been transported back to 1986. All she needed was a jheri curl and we could have brought the nostalga right back. The song is cool (very early Whitney Houston) but the video is...how can I put this...rubbish! I bet they spent loads of money on it too. What were they thinking when they put her in that leather ensemble with the hooker shoes and lets not talk about the wig! Wrong on soooo many levels. Catchy tune though - very camp and Top 40 worthy
ReplyDeleteI'd agree with the 1980's part!! the dance moves and I think the tune, as well is a bit dated - or just VERY poppy.
